Surya Cipta Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)

As a commitment to realize green environmental business activities, Suryacipta facilitates wastewater treatment plant design by Organica and PJLEnviro.

This WWTP is operated with a processing capacity up to 10,000 m³/day in 56x30 m² area's.

Wastewater treated with Fixed-Bed Biofilm Activated Sludge (FBAS) system which using plant roots and engineered media. Not only providing a large surface area for the biomass to attach and growth, but they also complete the food chain in the biological reactors. This system allows a much greater quantity and diversity of organisms enable to thrive.  

The Passavant Belt Filter Press installed for effective dewater due to this high throughput and high solid contents in the cake at about 99% solid separation. Compared to the decanters, Chamber Filter Presses is lower current and consequently lowering energy consumption. Additionally, the operation building of WWTP also applies green energy that utilizes solar panel.  

Good performance of this treatment plant fulfills the discharge quality of industrial wastewater treatment, stated in the quality standard regulation in Indonesia. This WWTP is also a manifestation of support for the Citarum Harum Program initiated by the government. Through waste management with modern technology, it is hoped that it can contribute to reducing pollution in the Citarum River.
